Daniel T. Steiner
Daniel T. Steiner is the President of ICI Mutual. He previously served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for ICI Mutual (1997-2013). Prior to joining ICI Mutual, Mr. Steiner was a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart, LLP (now K&L Gates LLP), where his practice focused on investment management and professional liability insurance matters.
From 1983 to 1985, Mr. Steiner served as a law clerk for the Honorable Irving Hill, of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Mr. Steiner received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law and his B.A. from Yale University. Mr. Steiner is a member of the California and District of Columbia bars and has written numerous publications on directors and officers liability insurance and litigation involving investment advisers and investment companies.
