The recently formed Joint CFTC-SEC Advisory Committee on Emerging Regulatory Issues has announced a open meeting scheduled for June 22, starting at 1:00PM.  The meeting will be held at the Commission's Washington, DC headquarters located at 100 F Street NE, and will be open to the public, with seating on a first-come, first-served basis.  

1. According to the announcement, the meeting agenda will include: 
2. committee organizational matters
3. testimony by representatives from various exchanges and firms regarding the market events of May 6;
4. updates from staff; and
5. discussion of next steps for the Committee.

The notice also states that a majority of the Commission may attend this meeting.  Though not indicated, this open meeting may be webcast live.
