Board

MFDF’s Governance Committee is responsible for nominating individuals to serve as directors of MFDF. The Committee only considers independent directors who are MFDF members.

In identifying potential board members, the Committee seeks individuals who are supportive of MFDF’s mission and activities. The Committee seeks candidates who together are broadly representative of the overall membership.  In addition, the Committee prioritizes candidates from under-represented groups, and those who add to the diversity of experience, expertise, and skill sets on the board.
