In Focus Archive: Boards' Responsibilities

The Forum's In Focus series is a virtual roundtable series for fund directors and CCOs. During these one-hour virtual meetings, guest experts will join us to present and then take questions and comments from directors and CCOs. These discussions are designed to be more interactive than a typical webinar, and are offered free of charge to all current fund independent directors and CCOs.

The evolving regulatory landscape in the fund industry have also impacted the fund board's responsibilities. During this session, Molly Moynihan, partner and firmwide co-chair of investment management practice at Perkins Coie, reviewed the primary duties of a fund board and its independent directors. This is an ideal session for fund directors who recently joined their board or directors who would like a refresher on board responsibilities.
