Dan is a Managing Director and leads the cloud practice for the financial services sector in North America.
Dan is a global leader with 25+ years in Information Technology with a proven track record of creating new cloud-based businesses, penetrating new markets while delivering enterprise and shareholder value: including 3 successful technology startups which all were acquired.
Selected Professional Experience:
- Served as Executive Vice President of REAN Cloud’s Customer Business Group leading all go-to-market and customer success operations. REAN Cloud – a “born-in-the-cloud” systems integrator, experienced hyper-growth providing cloud transformation professional and managed services for large enterprises and was acquired by Hitachi in October 2018. While at REAN Cloud, Dan was responsible for the overall design and execution of it’s business strategy, customer success and revenue growth.
- Served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Westcon-Comstor’s global cloud practice. In this role, Dan successfully defined, launched and executed Westcon-Comstor’s cloud strategy. The global cloud practice experienced significant scale/revenue growth and was a catalyst for Westcon-Comstor’s transformation.
- Served as the lead for a major financial institution’s cloud journey focused on accelerating new services to market while improving operational efficiency and reducing costs. Performed executive oversight in the assessment, design and execution.
- Served as the lead for a major research firm and its strategic goal of closing multiple data centers and migrating to the public cloud. Performed executive oversight in the landing zone design, application rationalization/assessment and migration execution.
- Served as the lead for one of the world’s largest wireless providers and its goal of migrating digital services to the public cloud. Performed executive oversight in the initial business justification, strategic design, landing zone build, application rationalization/assessment, regulatory compliance and ongoing managed services.
