Kaitlin McGrath

Kaitlin McGrath advises U.S. registered investment companies (including mutual funds and exchange-traded funds) and their investment advisers on a wide variety of regulatory, compliance and business matters. Ms. McGrath also advises boards of directors/trustees of U.S. investment companies on fund governance and fiduciary oversight matters.

Ms. McGrath has assisted clients with developing and launching new funds, ongoing regulatory and compliance matters relating to existing funds, fund/adviser reorganizations and requests for exemptive relief from the Securities and Exchange Commission. Ms. McGrath also has experience conducting internal investigations and representing clients in connection with enforcement matters.

Ms. McGrath has significant experience advising mutual funds and their investment advisers on affiliated transaction matters and conflicts of interest issues.

Ms. McGrath is a member of Dechert’s pro bono committee and co-coordinator for the Boston office’s pro bono program. Ms. McGrath is also a member of Dechert’s Global Women’s Initiative.
