Deirdre Mirabile

Deirdre is a Managing Director in EY’s Financial Services Office and has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, including over 24 years in public accounting with Ernst & Young.  She previously spent six years at Prudential Mutual Fund Management. 

Deirdre has experience with various mutual fund structures including ETF’s, BDC’s, RIC PE/Hedge Fund of Funds and Master/Feeder funds.  She advises clients on the tax treatment of complex financial instruments such as high yield debt, contingent debt, inflation indexed bonds, swaps, controlled foreign corps, derivative instruments, REIT’s, PFIC’s and foreign currency related transactions.  In addition, she has advised clients extensively on the tax issues surrounding fund mergers and ownership changes in accordance with IRC Sections 382-384.

Deirdre is a New York Certified Public Accountant and received her B.S. in Finance from Adelphi University.
