In September 2026, MFDF's Board Effectiveness Working Group will meet to discuss fund boards' use of interested directors.
Questions for discussion may include:
- What role(s) responsibilities do interested directors have in your fund's boardroom?
- Is your board involved in the selection of the person or people in the interested director role? In what way(s)?
- How does the involvement of interested directors in the fund boardroom impact board communication and decision-making?
This call will be hosted on Zoom from 11:00am-12:00pm ET on Wednesday, September 16th and is open to independent directors and CCOs serving on fund boards with active MFDF memberships.
