Diversity Working Group

In September 2026, MFDF's Diversity Working Group will meet for a discussion of how boards think about neurodiversity and disability in the context of inclusion in the boardroom. Neurodiversity and both temporary and permanent disabilities among board members may present accessibility questions or challenges for fund boards. When they do, how do boards consider and implement accommodations?

Questions for discussion may include:

• how do fund boards think about inclusion with regard to neurodiversity and disabilities?
• What accommodations has your board has implemented to allow neurodiverse and disabled board members to participate? 
• What factors are considered in making accommodations for neurodiverse and differently abled board members? 

This call will be hosted on Zoom from 11:00am-12:00pm ET on Thursday, September 24th and is open to independent directors and CCOs serving on fund boards with active MFDF memberships.
