MFDF In-Person Event: Closed-End Fund Roundtable in New York City
On Wednesday, July 29 MFDF plans to host an in-person Closed-End Fund Roundtable in New York City. In partnership with KPMG, industry experts will gather to discuss important issues facing boards of closed-end funds including:
- Threats from Activist Shareholders
- Implications from the FS Credit Opportunities Corp. v. Saba Capital Master Fund Ltd. Supreme Court Decision
- Interval & Tender Offer Fund Structures
- Product Development
- Distribution
- Valuation Considerations
As always, the MFDF in-person event will offer fund trustees the opportunity to network with peers and industry leaders. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. The event is expected to last until 2:30pm ET. A full agenda, including speakers, is available on the MFDF website.
MFDF also encourages independent fund directors and CCOs to register for the Director Discussion Series (DDS) event the day prior (Tuesday, July 28) for an engaging, closed-door discussion touching on a variety of issues that the fund industry is keenly focused on.
