Event of Interest: EY Plans Webinar on the Evolution of Board Governance

On Tuesday, August 15 at 3:00pm ET, the EY Center for Board Matters plans to host a webinar entitled, “Why now is historic for the evolution of board governance.” The program will cover the impact emerging technologies are having in the board room, and how directors are proactively approaching these changes. While the core program is focused on corporate board governance, there are likely to be helpful takeaways for fund trustees as well. Topics include:

• Evolution of board operations. Learn how boards have evolved in the past, how they are currently changing their ways of working, and how they engage with management, stakeholders and each other.
• How boards are adapting. Discuss the impact on meeting agendas and structures, including where boards wish they could spend more and less time.
• Leading practices for optimizing the board. Hear what boards are doing differently to evolve — and the principles for making these changes.
