Event of Interest: Brookings to Host “The Importance of Financial Data Collection and Standardization”

On Thursday, December 14 at 9:00am ET, the Brookings Institution plans to host an event titled, “The Importance of Financial Data Collection and Standardization.” The Center on Regulation and Markets at Brookings will gather current and former regulators, academics, and other industry experts to explore how the financial services sector is gathering, analyzing, and standardizing the data it collects through account holders and transactions. The panelists will discuss industry progress, what gaps need to be filled, and how to ensure data collection practices in the United States are utilized to guard against future financial system collapse. This event is part of the Center on Regulation and Markets “Series on Financial Markets and Regulation.”
