Event of Interest: SEC Hosts Conference on Emerging Trends in Asset Management

On Thursday, June 5 the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Division of Investment Management plans to host a one-day event in Washington, DC titled “Conference on Emerging Trends in Asset Management.” The conference brings together a variety of asset management industry participants, regulators, commentators, and academics to discuss emerging trends in the industry. Panels will focus on the evolution of the Investment Adviser Act and Investment Company Act, digital assets, tokenization, product innovation in registered funds, and retail access to private markets. The conference is open to the public both in-person (registration required) and via live webcast.
