MFDF Announces Addition of Three New Board Members
This week, MFDF announced the addition of three new members to its own board: Fran Cashman, Jody Foster, and Julian Sluyters.
Fran Cashman currently serves as an Independent Trustee for the Morgan Stanley Funds Board and as Director of Baltimore Equitable Insurance. Her career has included senior roles with Euromoney PLC, Legg Mason, and Stifel Nicolaus.
Jody Foster currently serves as an Independent Trustee for the Voya Funds and Independent Trustee and Audit Committee Chair for the Diamond Hill Funds. She is a 30-year veteran of the financial services industry and has held executive positions in large multi-national asset managers as well as boutique public and private managers and currently serves as the CEO of Symphony Consulting.
Julian Sluyters currently serves as the lead independent trustee for the Venerable Variable Insurance Trust Funds and as an independent trustee for the Wilshire Funds. His depth of experience includes stints as CEO of a mutual fund firm, CEO of a major European financial services company and COO roles with a range of asset managers. He also brings a wealth of board experience to his new role with MFDF, serving as CEO for more than 20 mutual fund boards in both the US and Europe.
