Register Now: MFDF Fund Governance and Regulatory Insights Conference
On March 5-6, please join MFDF in Washington, D.C. for the annual Fund Governance and Regulatory Insights Conference. The conference brings together independent fund directors, industry service providers, and key voices in Washington to discuss the pertinent issues that fund boards care about.
One key feature of the Washington, DC program is the discussion with regulators and key policy leaders in the fund industry. On Thursday, the program will feature a fireside chat between MFDF’s Carolyn McPhillips and the SEC’s Division of Investment Management Director Brian Daly. The conversation will center around Division priorities, the role of independent fund directors, and developments in the fund industry.
On Friday, panelists will highlight key areas of intersection between Washington and the fund director community. Panelists include a current independent director and former head of global public policy for a large asset manager, a legal and regulatory asset management professional, and a political consultant based in Washington DC. The panelists will discuss regulatory updates, what to expect from Congress in 2026, and areas of focus for fund directors such as AI and alternative assets in registered products.
The conference will offer independent fund directors numerous opportunities to network with peers, deepen industry connections, and learn from a diverse group of professionals.
